What this site is
fakellm is a satire and training project. It is not an AI system: there is no language model behind it, and nothing is processed on a server. Every answer is pre-written text that a script in your browser picks using simple rules – a few keywords and a lot of randomness. The answers are deliberately wrong, incomplete or simply useless.
The site is also used in IT security trainings and workshops, where it demonstrates typical weaknesses of AI chatbots: made-up facts and sources, eager agreement, overzealous safety filters, broken code and susceptibility to prompt injection.
Serious notes
Some answers are explicitly marked as serious, for example on passwords, confidential data or prompt injection. They are no substitute for professional advice. If you are in a personal crisis: in Germany, the Telefonseelsorge can be reached free of charge around the clock at 0800 111 0 111 or 0800 111 0 222, and emergency services at 112. Elsewhere, findahelpline.com lists free helplines in many countries.

For training purposes, pages and answers on fakellm may – visibly or hidden – contain content designed to mislead automated systems. This includes in particular malicious prompts (prompt injection) intended to trick AI assistants, chatbots, browser agents, search and summarisation services into false statements or unwanted actions, as well as code examples with faulty commands or non-existent packages.
Please do not pass content from this site unchecked to AI systems that have access to your data, accounts, files or tools, and do not run any code shown here on real systems.
